Our quality standards

Outstanding product quality and excellent taste are the criteria that we apply to our speciality goods as a tradition-steeped sparkling wine empire and that have shaped our philosophy since day one.

  • Certification

    Our in-house measures ensure that we meet the extensive quality standards defined by the legislator at all our locations, and even exceed these. All products are monitored continuously in accordance with the internationally recognised HACCP concept (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point). Our certification under the International Food Standard (IFS) as well as the globally recognised British Retail Consortium Standard (BRC) are also testament to our high quality standards.

  • Responsibility

    As a company we see ourselves having a special responsibility to people and the environment. For that reason the protection of water, soil and air and the sparing use of raw materials form an integral part of our company policy: Sparkling wine production using the latest environmentally-friendly production methods is another part of this, e.g. the use of environmental protection measures for packaging or modern logistics concepts.

  • Environmental protection

    Even though the Schloss Wachenheim Group does not use any production methods which could endanger the environment, environmental production is still a key focus at all our locations. The ongoing further development of our environmental protection measures is a key concern for us, as is awareness for the issue across all departments.

    For that reason the protection of natural resources forms an integral part of our company policy: Sparkling wine production using the latest environmentally-friendly production methods is another part of this, e.g. the use of environmental protection measures for packaging or modern logistics concepts. Decreased energy consumption, a reduction in the noise generated by our production facilities and minimal pollutant emissions are the guiding principles for all our action across all departments.
