With its three wineries the French group division is one of the most prominent suppliers of sparkling wine in France.
- The winery in Tournan-en-Brie specialises in sparkling wine production using the Charmat method and boasts a production capacity of more than 60 million bottles a year.
- The Wissembourg site in Alsace produces a variety of other wine-based drinks in varying bottle sizes in addition to sparkling wine.
- At the "Maison Veuve Amiot" cellar in Saumur on the Loire we produce approximately 4 million bottles of our top products annually using the traditional bottle fermentation method. This establishment has a history which stretches back into the 19th Century.
The key brands distributed in the French group division include Charles Volner, Muscador, Opéra, Veuve Amiot, G.F. Cavalier, Grand Impérial and Pol Clément. Here the distribution takes place primarily via food wholesale and retail channels. On top of this, the division exports sparkling wines to more than 70 countries across the globe; the most important export markets are Russia, the USA, Japan and a number of countries in Africa.
