Sektkellerei Schloss Wachenheim

Founded in 1888, Schloss Wachenheim (Wachenheim Castle) is one of the oldest and most tradition-steeped sparkling wine production establishments in Germany. The winery is located in the heart of the Palatinate, in the Mittelhaardt region, in the wine and sparkling wine town of Wachenheim on the German Wine Route.

  • Sparkling wine production with a passion

The supreme art of traditional sparkling wine production has been cultivated at our winery since 1888. The end of the 19th century remarks the time during which it was possible to successfully transfer the high quality of bottle fermentation to the top rate Riesling base wines of the Palatinate region.

The company came into existence in its current form in 1996 as a result of a merger between Sektkellerei Faber GmbH & Co. KG, Trier and Schloss Wachenheim AG, transforming it from a mere German sparkling wine producer to an international corporation with subsidiaries in France and central and eastern Europe.
