  • In line with tradition, in Germany Schloss Wachenheim AG, the parent company of the Schloss Wachenheim Group, principally is a producer and distributor of sparkling wine and semi-sparkling wine, maintaining three production sites:

    • With a production volume of more than 100 million bottles annually, the winery in Trier is regarded as one of the most cutting edge business operations in the sector, both across Europe and throughout the world.
    • The Wachenheim Sparkling Wine Castle on the German Wine Route (Weinstraße) disposes of one of the largest and most up to date production facilities in the country when it comes to the traditional industry of bottle fermentation.
    • The Hanse sparkling wine factory (Sektkellerei) in Wismar, the furthest north sparkling wine producer in Germany, is a kind of manufacturing outfit in which only small quantities of sparkling wine are produced annually for distribution in the region of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, but frequented by visitors numbers totalling approximately 15,000 a year from all regions of Germany and beyond.

Alongside this, our tradition-steeped vineyard Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt (VDP - Association of German Quality and Prädikat Wine Estates), a subsidiary of Schloss Wachenheim AG, disposes of an extraordinary range of prime locations in the growing regions Moselle, Saar and Ruwer, producing Riesling wines which compete with the best wines of their provenance.

The most significant sparkling wine brands of the German sub-group are Faber, Schloss Wachenheim, Nymphenburg Sekt, Schweriner Burggarten, Feist, Schloss Böchingen and Schwansee. Other important national brands include Light Live (alcohol-free sparkling wine and wine), Blû Prosecco as well as Robby Bubble, the kids' party drink.

With the exception of wines from the vineyard Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt domestic distribution takes place primarily via food wholesale and retail. In addition to this the company's products are exported to almost 40 countries; distribution usually takes place there via local distribution partners or sales representatives.

The most important export countries include the UK, the Benelux countries, Austria and Switzerland and even Scandinavian countries.
