Wachenheim, 28 September 2007. The Schloss Wachenheim Group, the world’s largest producer of Sekt and sparkling wine, increased its output in fiscal year 2006/2007 (30 June) by some 10 million bottles to 255.6 million bottles (0.75 litres). Net revenues (excluding Sekt taxes) rose by 8.4 percent to EUR 281.3 (250.7) million. The operating result (EBIT) improved by 8.3 percent to EUR 18.2 (16.8) million. Consolidated profits dropped from 13.8 million to 10.6 million because of a lower financial result.

Last year, sales of shares in the subgroup Ambra S.A., which is listed on the Warsaw stock exchange, and other extraordinary effects resulted in financial income, which was not repeated in the past fiscal year.
