As a producer of alcoholic beverages, we advocate responsible consumption of alcohol. Marketing is therefore carried out exclusively within the limits of the applicable legal requirements, although the opportunities for advertising such beverages abroad are sometimes very limited. In Germany, as part of our marketing activities, we focus our advertising messages on positive aspects such as enjoyment and joie de vivre and observe the “Code of Conduct of the German Advertising Council on commercial communication for alcoholic beverages”. Schloss Wachenheim AG also supports the “Don’t drink and drive” campaign, which is supported by the leading associations from the beer, wine, sparkling wine and spirits industries, as well as the “Wine in Moderation” initiative.
The Schloss Wachenheim Group is also one of the leading producers and suppliers of dealcoholized sparkling wines and wines. In doing so, we are following the trend of increasing health awareness, which is also reflected in people abstaining from alcohol, and are offering consumers a wide range of alternatives. We are constantly developing our dealcoholization technologies to bring the taste and sensory properties of the products ever closer to those of the alcoholic variants.
As part of charitable projects and initiatives, the companies of the Schloss Wachenheim Group and their employees are a strong partner for sporting, cultural, scientific and social projects in their home regions. For example, Schloss Wachenheim AG is a sponsor of several scholarship holders as part of the “Deutschland-Stipendium” at the universities of Geisenheim (International Wine Business) and Ludwigshafen (Viticulture and Oenology). In France, the Compagnie Française des Grands Vins S.A. is the sponsor of the “Festival de Trélazé”. And in Poland, AMBRA S.A. supports, among others, the Bilgoraj XXI Foundation, the Bilgoraj Land Local Fund and the Winarnia Zamojska Foundation.
